Okay, recently I came across this website/blog/facebook site.

http://www.scalemodelsoup.com/

The author is take a humorous but insightful approach to our hobby. He points out the oddities of our hobby and ourselves (himself included) in an effort to promote the hobby and spread the word. I would encourage you all to take a look when you have some time. And take the time to read back on some of his historic posts as well. The one about his first IPMS Nationals was very funny and showed to what extent people will go for their hobby.

He also did a nice job of showing off Greg's Pink Cadillac as an example of how to creatively display a model at the nationals. He liked Greg's use of props on the display. Greg used a reproduction taillight on the base of his Cadillac. Nice to see someone noticed!

Okay, now get off the computer and glue and some plastic together....
