House of Hobbies Celebrates 50 Years

Local Anchorage hobby shop, House of Hobbies, celebrated 50 years in business this past May. They sponsored a contest and many of our club members place models into their display cases.

President Paul set up a table on the 17th and gave some demos. Per his words:

"Here’s a photo of the table I was set up at last Saturday at house of Hobbies for our Club’s display/exhibit/recruiting on the day of the entrance to their 50^th Anniversary model contest. My demo was on making tank junk. I intended to do a variety of items, wound up just finishing some ammo cans for a tank."
