The Last Alaska Hobby Shop

The largest state in the union just lost 50% of it's hobby shops. After nearly 40 years in operation, Anchorage's Hobbycraft closed it's doors this month. We were very fortunate to have had two hobby shops in our town for so long. Many towns across the country of a similar size weren't so lucky for so long. We'll miss Tim and the great selection of kits and supplies at Hobbycraft. We do wish Tim all the best in his new adventure-retirement!

Savor and support the Last Alaska Hobby Shop, House of Hobbies in Spenard. Sure, Michael's sells a few Revell/Monogram kits, the basic Testors tools, and occasionally has an Iwata Neo on sale, but that just isn't the same as a well stocked hobby shop that we all know and love. In order for them to exist, we need to support them. With our gloomy economic forecast in Alaska, this is even more important.
